Next Meeting: Monday, February 18th, 7:00p.m.-8:00p.m. at Christ United Methodist Church located on North Main Street, behind the Town Hall. In this meeting we will hold election of board members and committee chair holders for 2002 and review 2001 financial information.
Dues
Dues for 2002 will be the same as for previous years, which is $110.25, payable by the end of February. Treasurer Martin Sweeney will have detailed information at the next meeting on expenses from 2001. If the due date is a problem, contact the Martin to arrange an alternate payment plan.
Garage Sale
The garage sale is scheduled for Friday and Saturday the 19th and 20th of April. The Association will post signs and run an advertisement in the paper.
Thank You, Good Neighbors!
We wanted to express our thanks to those neighbors who helped keep the lawns mowed of unoccupied homes last year. Also thanks to Kyle Alexander for painting the stone sign on the S.R. 32 entrance.
Keep Those Light Bulbs Going
The neighborhood coach lights are in pretty good shape, so this will be the first newsletter we won't complain! We all know we should help keep our neighborhood lit at night, and it seems we're figuring out which bulbs do best. The feedback is the Teflon coated bulbs and the fluorescent bulbs hold up well.
Parking
If you park along the street, make sure you park close to the curb. The street is a bit narrow if cars park away from the curb, especially if cars are parked on both sides of the street.
2001 Board Members
- Steve Thomas, President
- Martin Sweeney, Treasurer
- Jean Rodgers, Secretary
- Sharon Gunason, Groundskeeping Director
- (vacant position), Community Liason
- Jim Rodgers, Architectural Committee Chair
- Emily Alexander, Dave Wiechers, Architectural Committee Volunteers
For 2002, you can choose to re-elect the same folks or someone else. Most members have expressed a willingness to continue in the 2001 role, although the treasurer position is open. We also need a new person for the community liaison position since it had been vacant for part of last year. This person is responsible for contact outside of homeowners, e.g. legal matters, communication with department of streets, town hall, etc.
Hope to see you there on the 18th!
